Clowns for Christ

In the late 1970s and the early 1980s, David Paul Schumann (1952 – 2021) began to write skits and parody songs, all intended to convey biblical truth through as many means, and to as many people, as possible. Soon, these skits and songs blossomed into a full-fledged ministry, which he lovingly referred to as Clowns for Christ. Later, when David entered into vocational ministry for the United Methodist conference in Iowa, this ministry took on a life of its own. Through his humor, his wit, and his love for Christ Jesus, Pastor Dave impacted the lives of so many men, women and children. His homegoing in May of 2021 sparked a fervent desire to rekindle these skits and songs for a new generation, and with the rise of modern cyber technology, it is our prayer that these beautiful truths will reach many, many more people with the saving news of Jesus!
