Please take a moment and meet our leaders.
King Joshua of Nazareth is the Sovereign Head of our congregation. He has always existed, from eternity past, as God. But some 2,000 years ago, in fulfillment of prophecy, He took on human flesh and was born, both fully God and fully human, in Bethlehem in the land of Judea. Then, more than 30 years later, on Sunday, April 6, 4036 (32 AD), He rode into the city of Jerusalem on the back of a donkey, fulfilling a prophecy given some 500 years beforehand through the mouth of a man named Zechariah. At that time, the Jews living in Jerusalem declared Him to be their King. Only a few days later, however, they demanded His execution and the Roman government complied with their demand. Three days following His execution by crucifixion, King Joshua conquered death once and for all, and for all men, by raising Himself from the dead. In the days following His incredible resurrection, He promised His followers that He would send a great, powerful and Holy Spirit to them, and that when they received this promised Spirit, they would become powerful witnesses to all men. Fifty days after He left earth and ascended back into Heaven, that promised Spirit came, and a new entity was established: the called out ones of King Joshua. That universal entity, also called His body, has now existed for more than 2,000 years. Our local congregation is only a small part of that universal entity, and He is its undisputed Head and Master.
